1969 Moon Landing Framed Newspaper
Item Details
A 1969 moon landing framed newspaper. This original front page of the Cincinnati Enquirer dated Monday morning, July 21 and has the headline ‘Footsteps on Moon!’ with a half-page photograph of the astronauts walking on the Moon’s surface. Presented under glass against a royal blue mat board in a black wood frame. The rest of the newspaper section is enclosed in an enveloped attached to the back of the frame along with a wire for hanging. Also included is a book titled We Came in Peace published in 1969 by Classic Press Inc. about the space U.S. program.
Condition
- minor markings to frame. Original newspaper page is deeply yellowed from age. Book has light wear with some page yellowing.
