19th Century American Coin Silver Spoons with Bacon & Smith

Item Details

A group of six American coin silver teaspoons from the 19th century. They contain pointed bowls and shoulders, narrow necks, and fiddle handles. Some are engraved with monograms to the handles. Included are spoons from the firms of Bacon & Smith (1845-1857), Nathaniel Olmsted from Connecticut (1808-1860), William B. Candee circa 1835, H.A. Coe, Nicholas E. Young (1839-1846) with additional marks for H & W with a star and a ‘D’. An additional marking is indiscernible. The total approximate weight is 2.985 ozt.
