A hand-knotted Turkish pictorial wool area rug. This unique rug is attributed to Turkish weavers, and features a salmon field with large-scale depictions of storks, a flowering tree, and flowers to the spandrels. The rug also features simple banded borders of brown, yellow, orange, and shows colors of pale rose, and ivory as well. This rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges with an extremely short natural warp ivory fringe. Unmarked.
