Vintage Oak Pedestal Table with Chairs

Item Details

A vintage, circa early twentieth-century, solid oak pedestal table and a set of six chairs. The round table features a fluted center column with four heavy, carved lion’s paw legs. The table comes with three extension leaves, which have pegs that fit into holes. When the leaves are in place they are supported by a floating center leg, which is concealed inside the column when the leaves are not in use. The table comes with a set of six oak dining chairs, including five armless chairs and one matching armchair. The top rails are arched, with a wide center splat, and the arms on the single armchair are flat. The seats are padded and upholstered in a light colored tapestry fabric with lavender grape clusters and green leaves, and the chairs rest on curved, Queen Anne-style legs. No maker’s marks. Included with the dining table and chairs is a round, wooden ‘lazy-susan’ turntable accessory.

A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
