A hand-knotted French Savonnerie Style wool accent rug. This rug features a palette of sky blue, ivory, gold, rose, and sage; beginning with a central medallion enclosed by a wreath of flowers and scrolling foliate motifs on an ivory field. The field is framed with an egg and dart patterned border, along with a solid sky blue border. The rug is finished with double overcast selvedges and a folded warp to the ends. Labeled to the underside ‘Made in France’.
