A collection of four hand-colored engravings of fashion plates from the 19th century. These pages show fashionable people from the 19th century wearing the latest fashions of the time for both women’s and men’s fashions in conjunction with fancy costumes from eras even earlier including the fifteen- and sixteen-hundreds. All prints have captions accompanying the imagery printed to the lower center as well as the engraver and artist’s names printed in lower corners. All three are presented behind mats and glass in wood frames with d-rings to the verso for hanging.

- to fair; overall surface wear to all four prints; toning and foxing to all four prints; wear to all four versos; chips and wear to frames.
