An original signed lithograph titled Johns Allegheny-The Recurrence of Water by listed Saskatoon artist Jacob Semko. The 2008 piece depicts a moody water scene, rendered in blue gray, ivory and black, with concentric ripple rings emanating from a brightly lit blue stone, with the ripples disappearing into a dark shoreline with another textural blue stone, with defined white outline to the base, to the upper right. The work is titled to the left margin and pencil-signed, along with red monogram to the lower right. Unframed.
Jacob Semko graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a focus on printmaking and lives in Saskatoon, where he works as a printmaker and is a Professor of Art at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK.
