Item Details

A collection of eight Staffordshire historical and romantic antique sugar containers. The pieces were produced by various makers in transfer printed earthenware bodies. Featured is the Lafayette At Franklin’s Tomb by Enoch Wood & Sons circa 1825-30. The pieces feature deep cobalt blue underglaze depicting American rural, floral, and Asian landscape scenes. There are no visible maker’s marks to the pieces.

- to Fair; chips and cracks throughout; scuffs and marks throughout.
