A grouping of a sterling silver plate and dish. The dish is by Wheelock of Newport, RI, which was founded by Emil H. Pflock and Frank G. Wheeler (active c.1948-c.1985). It features a rounded shallow well with attached leaf accents and rests on three ball feet, marked ‘Handmade Sterling Wheelock, Newport, R.I. 108’ to the underside. The plate has a flat bottom well, a wide sloping lip, and a textured rim, marked ‘Sterling 760 G’ to the underside. The total approximate weight is 10.715 ozt.
