Antique Chinese Export Thousand Butterflies Dishes
Item Details
A collection of antique Chinese Export Thousand Butterflies dishes. The group is made up of plates, bowls and a tureen. The are decorated with an overlapping butterfly pattern in earth tone colors accented with gold colored paint. There are twelve items in total. No maker’s mark is visible on any pieces.
Condition
- numerous chips on the edges of plates, some of which have been filled in with some sort of epoxy; some wear also to paint.
