A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Baluch carpet runner. This wool rug features three hooked cruciform medallions surrounded by compound borders with rams horn design. Oak leaves are present between the medallions and as the major border with a minor running water border in this burgundy, black and cream rug. This carpet runner ends in a short, white cotton fringe and overcast edges, and is unsigned.
