"Blue Onion" Porcelain Tableware including Meissen
Item Details
An assortment of Blue Onion tableware. The group includes ten dinner plates, seven salad plates, twelve bowls, a large serving bowl, a trivet, and a small bowl with a porcelain divider. The Blue Onion pieces with the gold tone trim are marked with the traditional crossed swords indicating Meissen. The pieces with the subtle white scalloped edges are marked ‘Meissen’ and were produced by Ernst Teichert in the early 20th century.
Condition
- some rubbing of gold tone paint; one plate has stain; slight staining to smallest bowl; scuffs and marks to undersides.
