Hand-Colored Engravings "Rome" and "Vienna"
Item Details
A pair of hand colored engravings titled Rome and Vienna. Each print depicts a view of the city in an earlier time. Rome depicts people standing at a balustered rail viewing the distant city with St. Peter’s Basilica dominating the skyline. Vienna depicts large formal gardens in the foreground with the city in the distance and mountains in the background. Each is mounted under glass in a veneered wood frame fitted with a decorative metal loop for hanging.
Condition
- small chip to a corner of each frame; slightly dusty.
