A hand-knotted Sino-Persian area rug. This wool rug, likely made in China, features a floral medallion pattern over a midnight-blue field, in a palette that includes ivory, camel, sage, cerulean, and cinnamon. The field is framed by five borders, including a herati primary border over ivory. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with ivory wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
