1960s Chiquita Banana Commercial Production Cels
Item Details
A pair of 1960s hand-painted Chiquita Banana commercial production cels. These images feature “Miss Chiquita” in a fruit hat and a white and red dress. She is depicted sitting while holding a banana and standing while holding a tube of lipstick. The cels are matted together in black and presented behind acrylic glass in a black wooden frame with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a certificate of authenticity from Classic Moments.
Condition
- two dents to the lower right of frame; wear throughout frame’s finish; some debris present beneath frame glass; frame glass would benefit from cleaning.
