Chinese Blue and White Canton Export Ware
Item Details
A selection of Chinese blue and white Canton export ware ware. This selection includes seven plates featuring one dinner plate, five desert plates, and one saucer. Each item features a depiction in blue and white of pagodas and a river scene. The dinner plate is marked ‘Yu’ (玉) on the underside and the other pieces remain unmarked.
Condition
- largest plate has chips to the rim, a stain to the front, and staining and wear to base; smaller plates all featuring a combination of chipping, staining, residue, and surface scratches and wear.
