Vintage 1947 Radiola Table Radio

A vintage 1947 Radiola table radio. This Radiola 61-8 five tube radio from the late 1940s was manufactured by RCA RCA Victor Co. and features six AM circuits. The body is made from molded Bakelite, and offers an on/off dial which doubles as volume, and a tuning dial. The slide rule features numbers in white text against a maroon and gold toned background, and ‘Radiola’ is marked in black text underneath. The underside bears the brand, serial number, and diagram of the tubes.

Condition

- to fair; discoloration of glass and finish of radio; missing electric cord; item untested; the backside of the piece appears to be missing a backing.
