Hand-Knotted Pak-Persian Area Rug

A hand-knotted Pak-Persian area rug, having a dense field of floral crests in a wide color palette on a deep indigo blue-black field. The crests are interlinked and create a lattice, in pinks, reds, blue, greens and orange colors, banded by a compound floral border. It has overcast edges and long, hand-tied cotton fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.

- to fair; wear consistent with age: slight discoloration, marks and stains, would benefit from cleaning.
