A hand colored etching by Victor Valery (French, 1881 – ?) of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The etching depicts the front edifice of the Gothic cathedral in fine detail tinted in pastel watercolors. It is signed in pencil to the lower right and mounted under glass in a narrow wood frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger. Valery was know for his colored etchings of scenes of Paris. He was active in the first quarter of the 20th century.

Condition

- worn frame finish; blemishes to frame and glass; torn paper backing.
