A vintage hand knotted Persian Bijar area rug. This wool rug features a crenelated central medallion in smoke, bright pink, cream, goldenrod, green, turquoise and merlot on a pictorial filled lozenge with gold accent surrounds. Cream spandrels continue the pictorial motif with compound borders, ending in a brief cotton fringe. This rug is unsigned.
