Two Vintage Tapestries with Decorative Genre Scenes
Item Details
A set of two early to mid 20th-century decorative woven tapestries. Featured is a tapestry depicting an 18th-century French courtship scene in a pastoral setting. It is rendered in pastel hues and features a foliate border and hanging loops to the top. Also included is a vintage tapestry depicting an 18th-century European hunting scene with hounds overtaking a stag. The piece is stamped ‘Made in France’ to the verso. Both textiles are presented unframed.

- heavy wear, toning, fading and thread pulling throughout; items are unframed.
