Mounted Antique Pulley Wheel

Item Details

An antique wood and iron pulley wheel. Likely used on a well pulley for raising and lowering a water bucket or vessel, or used in a barn. It has an iron hole/post in the center, and appears to have been repaired over many years with iron braces and nails as the wood began to split. It is very heavy, and unlabeled. This sculpture is held on a wooden base with two metal rods.

- chipping and wear to surface; staining throughout; staining to base.
