Semi-Antique Hand Knotted Persian-Kurdish Bijar Accent Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand knotted Persian-Kurdish Bijar Accent Rug. This wool rug features a central pierced medallion in merlot with orange, cream and green pendants against a dark blue lozenge field which is overall covered with pictorial motifs and crenelated border. The spandrels are in merlot with similar motifs. Enclosing the field is indigo main border in modified serabend style. Either end finishes with a very short wool fringe. This piece is unsigned.
