An oil painting on paper titled Mushroom and Spores by artist Jane W. Williams. This abstracted painting rendered primarily in a palette of brown, blue, and red hues features sweeping brushstrokes accompanied by daubs of green paint. It is signed with the artist’s initials and dated ‘1970’ by hand in paint to the lower right margin. The painting is matted in off-white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a hand inscribed label specifying the title, artist, and medium.

- slight toning to mat; frame glass would benefit from cleaning; sticker residue to the verso; slightly dusty; surface and edge wear to frame; slight wear throughout frame’s finish; wear to the verso.
