A hand-knotted Bokhara wool area rug. This rug features a deep red field with all-over octagonal Tekke style medallions in a palette of red, off-white, and black. It has a primary border of starburst medallions, and flanked by a compound geometric guard border in a palette of black and red. The rug has an overcast edge with a short wool fringe to either end. Unmarked.
