Power-Loomed Nain-Style Area Rug

A power-loomed area rug. This rug features a Persian Nain-style design in a palette of cream, tan, cerulean, midnight blue, and caramel. It begins with a wheel-like star medallion over a cream field filled with arabesqued palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines. Spandrels are grounded in midnight blue and cerulean. The field is framed by compound borders, including a stylized herati primary border over tan. Selvedges are bound. Top and bottom finish with applied fringe. Unlabeled.
