Vintage Sears Roebuck School Desk

A vintage Sears Roebuck school desk. The desk comprises a cast iron base with curved splayed legs supporting a wooden seat affixed to the front, and in the back a desk featuring a vertical bow-tie shaped openwork design bearing the company name with a green painted wood desktop and wooden shelf. The number 11-S.R. is cast to the inside on one leg. The hole in the desktop is for an inkwell.

Condition

- dirt and rust on metal. Scratches and nicks on desk including the initials “EB” and “RF” carved into the desk.
