The chair features: an arched rail in the center with serpentine rails on the angled wings, ball finials, barley twist stiles, serpentine arms with scrolled handholds,. barley twist supports for the arms and matching legs separated by blocks carved with a floral design at the corners of the seat, and a rocker base. The seat back and seat are upholstered with red velvet fabric. Maker not identified.
