A vintage ornately carved stained mahogany armchair. The armchair features a fully upholstered padded seat back with a straight rail and straight sides, thick deeply carved acanthus and scroll design motif arms and handholds on scrolled supports, a square upholstered seat, thick deeply carved curved legs with scrolled feet and a serpentine H- brace. The seat back and seat are upholstered in yellow velvet.
