An original signed 1998 ink drawing on thick paperboard by very well-listed American illustrator Sam Norkin (New York, 1917 – 2011), best-known for his theater sketches. This piece is titled Victor Garber, Alfred Molina, + Alan Alda in ‘Art’. It depicts the three actors engaged in a heated debate in a modern interior space. The piece is titled, dated March 1998, and noted as being produced ‘In Theater’ in graphite to the lower margin. It is signed in black ink to the lower right. The work is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Norkin had thousands of illustrations published in the New York Daily News, New York Herald Tribune, Boston Globe, Washington Post, and countless other publications.
