A pair of record LP albums (33 1/3) with baseball themes. Before Waite Hoyt became the Cincinnati Reds radio announcer he was a pitcher for the New York Yankees. He pitched for many teams from 1918-1938; his Yankee tenure was from 1921-1930. He room with Babe Ruth when the team was on the road. He recorded an album during the 1960s called, ‘the best of Waite Hoyt in the Rain Waite Hoyte Talks Babe Ruth’. During the Reds rain delays Waite would relive his playing days. In 1980 Reds players Johnny Bench and Tom Seaver join the Cincinnati Pops in narrating ‘Casey at the Bat’ and ‘Peter and the Wolf’. Bench narrated ‘Casey’ and Tom narrated ‘Peter’.
