Pair of Vintage Schmid Ceramic Figurine Music Boxes
Item Details
A pair of vintage ceramic music box figurines produced by Schmid. These figurines are shaped like girls in ball gowns, one holding a present and the other a bouquet of flowers. The cover can be removed from the underside to reveal the wooden component on which the music box mechanics are installed, and there is a marking which reads ‘Made in Japan Schmid’.
Condition
- some marks, scratches and discoloration consistent with use, would benefit from cleaning; bottom is loose on one piece; hairline crack on one piece, visible on the front.
