A mid-century oil painting on canvas by Neumann. The Impressionist-inspired piece depicts a European street scene with pedestrians walking past flower vendors and green trees, set against a backdrop of historic architecture and cloud blue skies. The work is rendered in muted earth tone hues, accented with areas of textured impasto. The piece is signed in cream paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a distressed off-white wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- craquelure and small chips scattered throughout painting; chips with inpainting at left grey building; overall wear, dust and debris to both painting and frame; scuffing to frame finish, especially to edges; no backing paper present; toning and staining to canvas verso.
