Chinese Soapstone Guardian Lion Bookends With Nested Boxes
Item Details
A pair of vintage Chinese soapstone guardian lion bookends having deep-relief carvings atop incised bases. This listing also includes a set of three hand-painted paper mâché nested boxes with incised dragon motifs. All items appear unmarked by the manufacturer.
Condition
- chip to lower corner of one bookend; minor signs of wear to finish. Boxes appear in good condition.
