A handwoven dhurrie. This wool area rug is rendered in a palette of cream, caramel, gray, and green. It begins with a compass-like central arrangement of palmettes and stems over a cream-colored field. Surrounding the spoked medallion are stylized images of flowering plants. The field is framed by compound borders grounded in caramel and gray. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with tan wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
