A Mid Century Modern molded plywood and bentwood chair designed by Norman Cherner (American, 1920 – 1987) for Plycraft. The seat and back of the chair are one-piece molded plywood construction. The molded plywood arms are constructed as one piece in a sleek contoured form. The ‘Cherner Chair’ is an icon of Mid Century Modern design and has been a staple since its first production in 1958.
