A hand knotted Caucasian mir-a-boteh style wool runner rug. The royal blue field is densely populated with boteh motifs in cherry red, off-white, and pale blue. The narrow border is comprised of two bands with bright red grounds. The inner border is filled with cruciform motifs in off-white and dark blue. The outer border contains Xs and diamonds in pale blue, green, royal blue, and camel. The cotton fringe at each end is worn and short.
