A hand-knotted Kurdish wool carpet runner. The rug features three stepped diamond medallions in a palette of cream, dark green, red, and black on a deep red field. The field is enclosed by floral spandrels in the field colors and has a compound border. The border features a floral and boteh pattern in dark green, cream, and pink. The rug has overcast edges and a short fringe to either end. Unmarked.
