Eastlake Style Marble Top Washstand with Mirror

An Eastlake style marble top washstand with mirror. This piece is walnut with a swivel mirror and a white marble top. The mirror is within a frame with crown molding to the top, carved detail to the sides and incised lines and pressed rosettes. The washstand has a rectangular white marble top with gray veining. Below is a full-width drawer above two half-width drawers and a recessed panel cabinet door. The drawers have pin and crescent joinery, and ornate brass bail handles with floral wreath accented backplates. The chest stands on a plinth base.
