An early 20th-century Edison Diamond Disc C-150 phonograph player. The item was designed to play Edison Diamond Discs, Thomas Alva Edison’s exclusive record format produced from 1912 to 1929. It features a hinged top lid marked ‘Edison’ to the interior, as well as a decorative front grille accented with a pink and blue floral backing. The piece rests on four turned legs and includes a door to the bottom that pulls down to reveal a record storage area containing an assortment of Edison Diamond Discs in paper sleeves.
