Item Details
A hand-knotted Baluch carpet runner. This flatweave rug features four diamond medallions in taupe, cream, and grey on a deep red field. Enclosing the field is a border of repeating geometric shapes, extending into the major border of squares on a burgundy ground. The selvedges are overcast and the rug has a short wool fringe. Not marked.
