A Steiff museum edition replica of 1927 ‘Bully’ Dog. This adorable bull dog displays wonderful Steiff craftsmanship, with chest label and ear button, swivel head, leather collar, bell, hand-painted face and covering of fine mohair plush and velvet. Identification number to back of box is B86-003187. The Steiff Museum opened in 1980, commemorating the company’s 100th anniversary with a large variety of iconic Steiff creations. The “Museum Collection” began in 1984, and each piece offered is a limited edition, with ‘Bully’ Dog restricted to 6,000. He comes still attached in his original packaging.
