A handwoven and embroidered Turkmen wool area rug. This rug features embroidery of repeated diamond and geometric motifs in a palette of indigo, crimson, sepia, ivory, and amber, and bordered in diamond motifs with added sage coloring. There is also a diamond and ‘S’ patterned lateral border to the ends, and finished with overcast edges, and a natural warp ivory fringe. Marked with a tag that reads ‘Hand Made in Turkiye’.

- Condition is consistent with age and shows signs of light wear from regular use.
