A Royal Doulton Meditation figurine of a woman at a writing desk. The 18th century aristocratic figure with a white wig and gold tone dress with ruffled sleeves sits at a desk gazing into the distance. A journal, candle, and inkwell are on the kidney-shaped desk, and she holds a quill in her right hand, hovering above the journal. The hollow piece is marked to the base with the Royal Doulton lion and crown mark and ‘Made in England – Fine Bone China – Meditation – H. N. 2330 – Copr 1970 – Doulton & Co Limited’. Four lines of registration numbers are also listed.
