A Japanese ukiyo-e woodcut reprint after Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重, 1797–1858), also known as Andō Hiroshige (安藤 広重). This vintage piece is a hand painted, restruck woodblock print of Ejiri: Distant View of Miho (江尻, 三保遠望) from the series The-Fifty-Three Stages of the Tōkaidō (東海道五十三次之内) depicting stationary vessels on a deep blue sea with mountains and sails beyond. Presented with a cream mat, under glass and housed in a distressed, gold painted wood frame with wire to verso. Additional information to reverse.
