A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Shiraz pictorial accent rug. This pictorial rug depicts several bird and animal forms highlighted by flower head motifs. The rug is executed in a palette of green, blue, pink, brown, goldenrod and cream over a burgundy ground. The rug has a vine and sawtooth patterned border finished with burgundy selvedge and natural warp fringe. Unmarked.
