A 1947-1948 Boston Red Sox picture pack with original mailing envelope. This pack contains twenty-five black-and-white player photos consisting of (HOF) Ted Williams, (HOF) Bobby Doerr, Mel Parnell, Mickey Harris, Dom DiMaggio, Johnny Pesky, Sam Mele, Vern Stephens, Bill Goodman, Merrill Combs, Billy Hitchcock, Chuck Stobbs, (HOF) Joe McCarthy, Birdie Tebbetts, Tommy O’Brien, Earl Johnson, Tex Hughson, and others. Each photo has a replica signature of the star player. Also enclosed is the original mailing envelope that contained this vintage photo pack. This photo pack was available to baseball fans at concessions stands surrounding historic Fenway Park in the late 1940s.
Condition
- edge and surface age wear with some soft corners. The photos are in good condition with no creasing. The envelope has soiling, and tears but overall in good condition.
