S. Tugsoyun Oil Painting of a Woman and Yurts
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a woman before a line of yurts, by a Mogolian artist named S. Tugsoyun. This work is rendered with thick black lines and swathes of yellow and red, the figure left partially-unfinished in her garments. A fence-in village is visible behind her. The work is signed and dated ‘2003’ to its lower right and is presented in a wooden frame with a gallery label, noting an illegible title and the artist’s name, to its verso. There is no hanging hardware.
