An original oil painting on canvas by listed Russian American artist Murat Kaboulov (1939-2010). This painting depicts a young woman seated on a red sofa next to a side table with lamp. The work is signed and dated ’07 by the artist in the lower right of the canvas, and is presented unframed.

Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992. Many of his works can be found in art museums throughout Russia.

Condition

- some paint lifting off the canvas around the edges near the frame edge.
