An original oil painting on canvas marked, ‘M.K.’, possibly the work of listed Russian American artist Murat Kaboulov, (1939-2010). This abstract painting depicts an expressive layering of mottled bold tones, in addition to a vibrant yellow with pops lavender. The work is signed ‘M.K.’ in the lower right of the canvas. It is presented unframed.

Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992. Many of his works can be found in art museums throughout Russia.
